Central Presbyterian Church shoot
Had the opportunity to provide aerial services for Central Presbyterian Church for their upcoming virtual Christmas online presentation Here's a few short clips. Just love this area for all of it's classic architecture (hence the choice to go black and white with this edit) Right by where they film The Handmaid's Tale.

Sunset Marsh
Sometimes timing isn't everything. Preparedness goes hand in hand with good timing. On this evening, I had all my favorite gear with me. DJI Mavic Pro, 2 Nikon D750's, my trusty Manfrotto tripod. Now carry all that through a marsh! Lol
I managed to get a timelapse going with my one D750 (14mm Rokinon glass) and let it do it's thing while i took hand held photos with my other camera and flew the Mavic to capture a most pleasant sunset in Luther Marsh. Just north of Grand Valley, ON

Currently under construction, RBJ Schlegel Park will bring much needed active and passive recreation space to southwest Kitchener – and it will become a destination park for users from across the entire Region.
RBJ Schlegel Park will be a jewel not only in south Kitchener, but in the region as a whole. It will be one of the largest most active parks in the city, with a pool, indoor sports facility, outdoor entertainment space, and more.

Lone Fisherman in Luther Marsh
Filmed entirely on the little Mavic Pro, it was a very quiet and still afternoon in Luther Marsh. This friendly fisherman was more than happy to float in the gentle breeze and enjoy the serenity of the day.

Kincardine Coast
Last summer there was a special moment in Kincardine, Ontario when two tall ships from Toronto sailed up to do sunset tours.
I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to film some moments from the air.
Unfortunately, weather the day after, prevented more filming.
Can't wait for summer to go back to continue capturing the beauty of Ontario's west coast.
Most recently, this footage was also incorporated in a CTV W5 special about the ongoing debate over the disposal of The Bruce Power Plant's nuclear waste which can be found here:

Kitchener-Waterloo IceStorm 2016
We are heading into spring here in City of Kitchener/Waterloo and we were "treated" to a spectacular #icestorm2016
I say "treated" because not everyone was so lucky due to falling ice and treelimps etc.
But considering the obvious damage it can leave in it's wake, it's also hard not to appreciate the natural beauty it can bring as well.
I'm hopeful that everyone has recovered well in our area and now enjoying the warmer temps.
Filmed with the DJI Inspire 1 after the ice storm.
The Arborist In Action
Finishing up the daunting task of removing four great evergreen trees. The last tip to come down was a work of art for these brave people. Watching them work was astounding. I'll never underestimate the talent it takes to remove these giants with care. Adrian Henrich, "The Arborist" at the "top" of his game. Special S/O to the amazing crew at Pinnacle Trees & Shrubs in City of Waterloo. www.pinnacletrees.ca #kwawesome

Traffic calming through art - Ahrens and Wilhelm Streets
This time lapse video demonstrates the results of Mount Hope Breithaupt Park Neighbourhood Association's efforts to make an intersection in their neighbourhood safer through an art based placemaking initiative. Community members came together to create a design significant to the neighbourhood, and worked with community partners and the City of Kitchener to install this street mural. Transportation staff at the city will review this pilot project and report back on its traffic calming merit by the Summer of 2016.

Everglades Everlasting
Filmed in and around the southern regions of the "Orange" state in April 2015. I was fortunate enough to capture some of Mother Nature's glory using my DJI Phantom 2 w. GoPro Hero 4 Black Ed.
Edited in Adobe Premiere after a year in the can.
I hope you enjoy my aerial footage of this fragile, rainforest environment.
